Jiggly 3d Progess - Head & Legs

Well I'm not really having any issues yet but I will say I'm not as motivated as I was when I started. So my speed has really slowed down. I like how the butt is turning out.

Wah! Kazecat, you work very quickly, I'm really impressed at how well you colored and shaded your last two images so fast. It looks like you came a long way with Jiggly's 3D model as well.

I've never modeled anything before so it might be normal, but I was surprised to see you seem to be making the model in pieces. Is that easier than doing a wire-frame of the body and using texture to fill out the details?

Otherwise, I do think you're doing a good job. I really like how the face turned out, and it's good to see the legs have joints and actually look like legs. I say keep doing what you're doing.

Since you did say you were okay with critique (and I really appreciate you saying so) if anything I'd like to see the flatter parts of her body be more rounded. Just in certain spots, like the back of the head and the front/top of her feet it seems like almost a straight angle and I think a more obtuse curve would look better. However, I've never worked with any modeling program before so I have no idea how you would do that.

In any case, thanks again for sharing your work. I think the final version of Sunnie and Zafta turned out very nicely and I'll try to comment on them soon as well. Good luck with everything! ^^

@Basque: I like to think that when I wanna create an image that I work fast but it usually takes me a day for one image.

Well when modeling you can do it all as one solid object are you can break it appart to help you focus on one part then connect later. Both techniques I have seen work so its opinion base on which way someone does it.

I wouldn't have noticed the flat feet if no one had said anything. and the back of the head is a little flat. I'll see what I can do when I work on it next.

Thanks for viewing my blog Basque.
